About the work

This framed painting is made with acrylic paint and pencil on cardboard. The dimensions are 42 x 32 cm and it is 3.5 cm thick (this includes the passe-partout and black frame). The work itself is 29 x 20 cm. Dated and hand-signed in 2025. Directly from the studio in Weert (NL). The work is about the disaster in Chernobyl 1986, where the government did not take the welfare of the workers who had to "clean up" the mess there very seriously! They received a bonus. Thirty rubles per man. A bottle of vodka cost three rubles. They "disinfected" themselves!!
